New White Label add-on for your own logo.
- New
White LabelYour own logo instead of the Mailsecurity brand at the top of the interface and on the login page of your domain is now an add-on to your plan (Billing → White Label). Without it, the Mailsecurity brand is shown; a logo you already uploaded stays saved and appears once White Label is booked.
Booking on account for customers with a framework agreement.
- New
Book on accountCustomers with a framework agreement with sareba can now book plans, plan changes, support tickets and licenses “on account”. The booking is active immediately, no online payment is needed, and the invoice comes from sareba as usual. We enable this per customer.
Clearer details in the mail log.
- Improved
Duration for outgoing emails tooThe log now also shows how long sending took for notifications and auto-replies. From one second on, the duration is shown in seconds (“2.3 s” instead of “2300ms”).
Far fewer quarantine notification emails.
- Improved
Deletion notices once a dayDeletion notices and final reminders now arrive at most once a day, at your configured digest hour. With an hourly list they could previously arrive separately every hour. Newly held messages are still reported at your chosen frequency.
- Improved
No spam notices for addresses that do not existIf you forward mail for unknown addresses to a catch-all address, spam to such addresses is now rejected without a notification. Such addresses usually come from stolen address lists. The messages stay in quarantine until the retention period ends and can be released there.
- Fixed
One email instead of several to the main addressIf deletion notices could not reach several non-existent addresses, the main address used to get a separate email for each, often in the same minute. Now it gets one combined email. The subject line also uses the correct singular (“1 message”).
Held emails can now be rejected, optionally as spam.
- New
Reject held emailsUnder “Held emails”, every message now has “Reject…”. “Discard only” removes it immediately instead of retrying delivery until the retention period ends. “Reject as spam” also learns from the content, so similar emails are caught by the check in future. The sender is not notified; the log shows the message as “rejected”.
Mailsecurity has a new program icon in the style of all sareba programs.
- Improved
New program iconThe browser tab, home screen icon, portal, invoices and the Outlook add-ins now show the new Mailsecurity icon. At small sizes it shows the short form “MS”. Invoices also show the current name “Mailsecurity by sareba”. Outlook may keep showing the old icon from its cache for a while.
Forged senders such as “FedEx” or “DHL” no longer show up in your notifications, and rejections now also work against emails with changing numbers.
- New
Forged senders are rejectedIf a sender domain explicitly asks for forged mail to be rejected and the sender is provably forged, the email is now rejected without a notification instead of being held. This mainly affects phishing in the name of well-known companies. The email stays in quarantine until it expires and can be released there.
- New
Reject thresholdUnder Settings → Account you can set a reject threshold. Spam at or above this score is rejected without a notification instead of being held. The setting is off by default.
- Improved
Rejecting learns from the contentWhen you reject an email, the filter now learns from its text, links and delivering address, not just from the sender. Changing tracking or reference numbers no longer prevent recognition.
Links and text in quarantine emails arrive intact again.
- Fixed
Broken links in notificationsSome quarantine emails contained spaces in the middle of links or words (for example “Delive r”), and buttons such as “Reject all” did not work. Mail servers along the way had wrapped very long lines. Emails are now encoded so this no longer happens. For older affected emails, open the quarantine in the portal instead.
Spamexx is now called Mailsecurity by sareba. Features, logins and addresses stay unchanged.
- New
New name: Mailsecurity by sarebaWebsite, customer portal, notifications, invoices and help articles now carry the name Mailsecurity by sareba. Your account, settings and domains stay as they are; no action is needed.
- Improved
New contact addressPlease send questions and requests to support@sareba.com.
- Improved
Outlook add-insThe “Report spam” and “Send encrypted” add-ins are now called Mailsecurity. Existing installations keep working unchanged; the new name appears once your administrator updates the add-in.
Fewer quarantine emails: deletion notices can now be included in the summary list, and there is a new “every 3 hours” cycle.
- New
Deletion notices in the summary listUnder Settings → Account you can turn on “Include deletion notices in the list”. You then get one single email per recipient and cycle: newly held messages, messages with a deletion date (grouped by date) and the final reminder. One-click delivery per line and “Deliver all” remain. Existing accounts stay as they are until you switch.
- New
“Every 3 hours” cycleIn addition to immediately, hourly, daily and weekly: at most one summary email per three hours.
- Improved
Notice in every quarantine emailEvery quarantine email now says at the end how to adjust frequency and bundling, with a direct link to the setting.
- Fixed
No more deletion dates in the pastA delayed deletion notice could name a date that had already passed or was only hours away. In that case the full notice period now starts from today.
